Juvéderm® Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are soft, gel-like substances that are injected under the skin. They can address a number of common concerns including smoothing of deep under-eye circles, lifting of cheekbones, volumization of the lips, smoothing of lip lines and nasolabilal folds (the creases that run from the side of the nose to the corners of the mouth), and rejuvenation of the hands.
Made of a hyaluronic acid (HA) gel, Juvederm® is a naturally-occurring substance in the skin that contributes to volume and hydration. Juvederm® is made by Allergan, the same makers of Botox®.
HA is a naturally occurring substance found in our skin, and it plays a major role in keeping skin hydrated and volumized. HA fillers, depending on their specific chemical makeup, can last from six months to much longer before being gradually absorbed by the body.

Who uses DERMAL FILLERS?
In skilled hands, dermal fillers can give subtle or dramatic results depending on your aesthetic goals. Whether you want just a bit more fullness to your lips or a complete non-surgical facelift, you can benefit from these versatile products.
Where do you use DERMAL FILLERS?
At Preventum:Skin, we have decades of experience in enhancing symmetry and balance to enhance and build a naturally beautiful look. Fillers can be used wherever is needed to achieve that look. From forehead to cheeks to lips to jawline — we can sculpt the look that you desire.
Is it painful?
We work to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible. We use a numbing agent to help with the pinch. As well, most of the dermal fillers contain Lidocaine, a medication that helps “freeze” the area. Overall, most people report little to no discomfort.
How long does it take to work?
Although you will notice a difference immediately, it can take 2 – 4 weeks for the dermal fillers to settle into your natural shape.
How much will the treatment cost?
The cost will depend on the area treated. Our price is per syringe. We will be happy to discuss the amount you require to achieve your goal.
