Limelight IPL
What is Limelight IPL
The LimeLight Facial is a non-invasive approach to treating benign pigmented and vascular lesions using Cutera’s LimeLight. The procedure offers the advantage of improving skin tone and surface imperfections associated with aging and photodamage.
The LimeLight Facial is ideal for any part of your face, neck and décolleté with skin redness, telangiectasia (tiny veins) or brown spots. Light (low contrast) brown spots, which were previously difficult to resolve, respond very well to treatment.
The heating of the abnormal red and brown pigment breaks it down into smaller particles which are then eliminated by body’s own immune cycle. For permanently-dilated, tiny blood vessels (telangiectasia) and related rosacea, this light therapy selectively destroys the abnormal blood vessels that cause the problem, allowing thicker-walled micro-vessels to be formed.

Who uses Limelight photo facials?
A Limelight photo facial will treat brown spots including age spots and sun damage. It will also treat redness/rosacea and small troublesome facial veins. Some types of scarring are also treatable with Limelight.
Where do you use Limelight?
Most people think of their faces when considering a photo facial. But Limelight also is an excellent treatment for necks, chests, backs and hands.
Is it painful?
You may feel a warm snapping sensation when you have the treatment. However, most people find the treatment to be very tolerable.
How long does it take to work?
You may find that some of your brown spots are a little darker immediately after the treatment. After 3 – 5 days, these spots will slough off. In 2 weeks, your skin will look smooth and radiant.
How much will the treatment cost?
This will depend on the type of treatment that you prefer. You should book a consultation with us to ensure you have the best treatment plan possible.
